As a young girl, obsessed with The Wizard of OZ, I wore my Dorothy dress everywhere I could. It made me feel beautiful and unstoppable. That's the thing about fashion, it defines emotion, and has the ability to transform the way one moves, speaks, and feels. When designing, I try my best to channel that feeling of my younger self and make pieces that will be significant in one's life. What the "Dorothy dress" looks like will differ from person to person but my design philosophy is to ultimately bring that profound sense of confidence to all who choose to wear my pieces.

It's a pleasure to meet you! Below is a little more about my experience in fashion.

Caitlin Dyes is an experienced designer with a demonstrated history of working in the fashion industry. With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Apparel Design from University of Delaware, an Associate of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), and a heavy concentration in adaptive apparel, Caitlin is well rounded and carries her exceptional skill sets to each project she executes.

Caitlin has a broad perspective in several facets of the fashion industry to include her background in public relations, sales, and merchandising, which have helped her gain a deeper understanding of the industry as whole in relation to design. In recent years, Caitlin has put her focus into purposeful, user centric, and functional garments that challenge her to think beyond the traditional expectations of fashion and continues to pursue solution based design opportunities.
